I know it’s a just a bunch of cinema to stir up us gamers, but it really. According to it’s STEAM profile it is an action, creature collecting, open world survival game. Palworld still has no firm release date, but a post on Steam promises that development is moving apace and that an alpha test will begin soon. The trailer in question showcases some of the game’s Pals and the ways they can be used for players’ means, from more whimsical things like flying through the world, gardening, or combining into new Pals, to more nefarious things like weapons manufacturing, some form of dire experimentation, and using them to walk into an explosive trap. “You will be able to have Pal join to fight alongside you, build various structures, breed to grow a stronger Pal bloodline, ride as a mount, make them work in factories, sacrifice their lives for your safety, capture with lassos or Pal Spheres, put them into the Pal Box prisons, force Pals to fight against each other in the Arena, and their fate if they are caught by the poachers… Just to mention a few.” PalWorld looks to be an ambitious Pokémon-inspired that dares to explore uncharted territory - giving Poémon guns.Pocketpairs open world survival title features cute creatures named Pals, who are similar in design and concept to Pokémon. The studio has been mostly silent after that initial announcement, but a new gameplay trailer has brought it back to the fore, along with a press release that delights in the game’s penchant for putting cute monsters through the wringer. Given its ambitions - there’s also Pal breeding, dungeon exploration, factory automation, multiplayer, and “crime” - it wouldn’t be surprising to see Palworld become a 2023 game.Remember Palworld? Pocketpair Games says Palworld is still in development, and there’s no update on when the Windows PC game will arrive other than its 2022 window on Steam. So, yeah, while Palworld is pitched as a “happy easy-going lifestyle while farming building” game, it also has its share of brutal combat.
We see a player character capturing a not-Wooloo with a not-Pokéball the construction of a high-tech Pal prison a deerlike creature brutally sniped in the head with a bow and arrow a pack of Relaxaurus (definitely not a Goodra-Snorlax hybrid) and what appears to be a boss, Anubis (definitely not Lucario), getting shotgun-blasted in the torso.
